Dr Joe Devlin qualified as a GP in 2004. He has been involved in primary care surgical services since 2005. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and has a diploma in Primary Care Surgery from the University of Middlesex. He has trained in Northern Ireland and England to develop specialist skills in Community surgery. He is the clinical lead for primary care vascular surgery in Northern Ireland and is the clinical lead for Western Area primary care surgery. Dr Devlin has been involved in teaching and training clinical colleagues for several years. Dr Devlin is also an accredited community carpal tunnel assessment and surgery provider. He has an interest in skin cancer surgery. Dr Devlin is a Council Member of the Association of Surgeons in Primary Care in the UK and an Associate Council Member of the Primary Care Surgical Association in the ROI.
