Mr Yousaf has been working in NHS Northern Ireland for 10 years as a consultant in General, gastrointestinal and minimal access surgery. He had his specialist training in general surgery from Northern Ireland, with additional training in Manchester and London. He is on the faculty of the Royal College of Surgeons in England as a trainer for advanced laparoscopic surgery. He specialises in keyhole surgery of gallbladder and bile duct stones, colon cancer, intestinal disorder, abdominal hernia and stomach acid reflux disease.

General Surgery. GI/ general and advanced laparoscopic surgery. I also have interest in short stay surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery, including laparoscopic CBD exploration, and lap repair of inguinal, incisional and ventral hernias.

Current post - Consultant surgeon. GI/ general and advanced laparoscopic surgery at Craigavon Area Hospital. This is a substantive GI surgery, involving colonic, billiary and anti-reflux surgery.
From 6th of Feb 07 till 3rd of Feb 08, Senior Clinical Fellow (post CCT). Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery (UGI/ HPB/GEN) at Kings College Hospital London.
