Heart Health Monitoring

info

About This Service

An ECG (electrocardiogram) is a medical test that records the electrical activity of the heart. Small sensors (electrodes) are attached to the skin, and the machine traces the heart’s electrical signals as a series of waves on a graph – the distinctive spiky line you see on monitors.

It’s used to detect things like irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias) and other cardiac conditions. The test is painless, takes just a few minutes, and is one of the most common diagnostic tools in medicine.

Important: If you are experiencing sudden chest pain, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of a heart attack, do not use this website,  call 999 or go straight to your nearest A&E immediately.
