No. You can self-refer and book an appointment directly with our Consultant Gynaecologist. We also accept referrals from GPs, consultants and other healthcare professionals.

Our Consultant Gynaecologist assesses and treats a wide range of women's health conditions, including heavy or irregular periods, pelvic pain, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, menopause symptoms, PCOS, postmenopausal bleeding, urinary incontinence, fertility concerns and early pregnancy issues.

Your consultant will discuss your symptoms, medical history and any previous investigations. If appropriate, a clinical examination may be performed, and further investigations such as an ultrasound scan or blood tests may be recommended. You will receive a personalised treatment plan based on your individual needs.

Yes. Pelvic and transvaginal ultrasound scans can be arranged where clinically indicated to help diagnose many common gynaecological conditions.

Yes. We provide specialist assessment and management of perimenopause and menopause symptoms, including advice on lifestyle changes and hormone replacement therapy (HRT) where appropriate.

Yes. Persistent or unexplained pelvic pain can have several causes. Our Consultant Gynaecologist will carry out a comprehensive assessment to identify the cause and recommend appropriate treatment or further investigations if required.

Yes. We can assess women experiencing symptoms such as pain or bleeding in early pregnancy and arrange appropriate investigations and advice.

With your consent, we will send a summary of your consultation, diagnosis and treatment plan to your GP to ensure continuity of care.

Not everyone requires additional investigations. If needed, your consultant may recommend blood tests, ultrasound imaging or other diagnostic procedures to help establish a diagnosis and guide treatment.
