Dr Stewart is happy to diagnose and treat adult patients across the full range of rheumatological conditions and has a particular clinical interest in Gout, all forms of early Inflammatory arthritis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica/Giant Cell Arteritis and Joint/soft tissue injections. He is registered with the major insurance companies and is happy to see self funding patients. He studied Medicine at Queen’s University, Belfast graduating in 2008 before training in Medicine and Rheumatology in Northern Ireland. He has worked as a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist since 2017 and is the Clinical Lead for Acute Medicine in Craigavon Area Hospital. Dr Stewart has an interest in medical education and has completed an MSc in Clinical Education. He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Rheumatology, is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London and is a Member of the British Society for Rheumatology and the Ulster Medical Society.

Certain Rheumatological conditions require long term treatments that are only available through the NHS (disease modifying drugs such as Methotrexate, or biologic drugs) - if necessary onward referral and care will be arranged through the NHS Dr Stewart is not available for medico-legal work
