Your fee is all-inclusive at £685, made up of an £80 consultation and £605 for the procedure. The consultation is booked and paid first; if the GP confirms you are suitable to proceed, the £605 covers the procedure, follow-up test and aftercare. It includes:

The no-scalpel method explained
The no-scalpel technique uses a single tiny puncture rather than a cut, which typically means less discomfort, less bruising and a faster recovery. It is carried out under local anaesthetic by a GP with a special interest in surgery, and usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.

Recovery and aftercare
Recovery is usually quick. It is normal to have mild soreness, swelling or bruising for a few days, managed with simple pain relief and supportive underwear. Avoid heavy lifting and vigorous exercise for around a week. A vasectomy is not effective straight away, so keep using contraception until your follow-up test confirms no sperm remain.
